Kristen Stewart marries long time partner Dylan Meyer

A lovely new chapter in Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer's relationship has begun with their official marriage.

On Easter Sunday, April 20, the 35-year-old Twilight star and her 37-year-old screenwriter partner exchanged vows in a small, private ceremony at their Los Angeles home.

Actress Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis, were among the close friends and family who reportedly attended the wedding, which took place more than three years after Kristen publicly announced their engagement.

According to TMZ, who published exclusive photos from the ceremony, the couple had secured their marriage licence earlier in the week before saying “I do” in what appeared to be a stylish yet understated celebration.

Kristen and Dylan, who are well-known for their distinctive style, added their usual flair to the event. In keeping with the laid-back and intimate vibe of the day, Dylan chose a sheer white top and a shimmering gold skirt, while Kristen wore a stylish two-piece matching outfit.

Fans have taken to social media to celebrate the marriage of the adored actress and her long-time partner, even though the couple's representatives have not yet provided an official statement on the rumours.

While working on a movie project, Kristen and Dylan first crossed paths years ago. Six years ago, they had a more meaningful reunion at a mutual friend's birthday celebration. In August 2019, romance rumours started to circulate, and by October of the same year, they officially announced their relationship on Instagram. In 2021, the couple declared their engagement.

Speaking on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show at the time, Kristen shared candid details about their engagement and Dylan’s proposal:

“It's not a given that I would be the one, you know what I mean? Like, with two girls, you never know, like, who's going to fulfill what weird f------ gender role thing and we don't do that or think about it in those terms," she said.

“So I was like, 'Wait, well, I'm not the one for sure.' And so I was kind of joking for a bit, like, 'No, I want to be the one to propose, like, I want to be proposed to' and then she just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f------ so cute.”

Like their relationship, their wedding was intimate and authentic, marking the culmination of their sincere journey.
