Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has publicly pushed back against HYBE’s explosive accusation that she coerced employees into voting against South Korea’s Democratic Party. She released multiple screenshots and evidence to counter the claim. The allegation surfaced during the November 26 court hearing for HYBE’s ongoing lawsuits against Min.
On November 28, Min took to Instagram Stories to categorically refute the charges. In one post, she wrote, “I have always been a supporter of the Democratic Party, and I personally voted for former President Moon Jae In.” She added that she “had no idea” her disappointment with the Moon administration’s real estate policies in 2020 would be “distorted like this.”
Calling HYBE’s claim an “unrelated political frame” inserted into their legal conflict, Min insisted the narrative was false and said she had the receipts to prove it.
HYBE’s accusation stems from an anonymous post submitted as evidence, reportedly written last year by an ADOR employee, alleging that Min instructed staff not to vote for the Democratic Party and later interrogated them about their choices. The anonymous writer claimed they were reprimanded for hours over their vote.

The post submitted by HYBE as evidence read, “After the election, if anyone said they voted for the Democratic Party, she’d call them in and scold them. At first, I thought it was a joke, but after being yelled at for three hours at a time, I wondered if I’d even joined the right company.”
HYBE also presented a December 14, 2020 KakaoTalk conversation, in which Min allegedly told an employee, “Why did you vote for the Democratic Party?” and “If there’s no party worth voting for, you shouldn’t vote—like me. LOL.”
Min, however, countered these claims directly. She reaffirmed her political stance by posting proof of her participation in a rally calling for Yoon Suk Yeol’s impeachment, as well as donation records for supplies sent to protesters. She even shared a selfie taken on the June 3 presidential election day, where she is seen carrying a blue bag, symbolic of the Democratic Party.
She further voiced her support for the current President, saying, “My friends all know this, but I have consistently supported President Lee Jae Myung since his days as mayor of Seongnam.”
Min also questioned the relevance of HYBE’s evidence, stressing that the KakaoTalk messages predated ADOR’s existence entirely. “I can’t understand what kind of framing they’re trying to create using a private KakaoTalk message,” she argued, pointing out that “2020 was even before ADOR was founded.”
