Former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin has expressed her heartfelt support for NewJeans after the group decided to return to the agency, bringing an end to a year-long contract dispute that had left fans anxious and the K-pop world buzzing.
“The decision the members made yesterday to return together must have come after deep thought and discussion,” Min said in a statement on Thursday.
“I respect and support that choice.”
The news came just after Ador confirmed that Haerin and Hyein would rejoin the agency. Soon after, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle followed suit, signalling a full reunion of NewJeans as a five-member group.
After months of doubt and conjecture, fans swiftly celebrated the band's reunion on social media.
The tensions began after Min was removed as CEO in August last year. The members had been vocal about their wish for her reinstatement, leading to disagreements with management.
When they declared in November 2024 that they would be ending their exclusive contracts with Ador, a legal battle ensued that caused anxiety among fans and industry insiders.

With all five members back under one roof, fans can look forward to a fresh chapter of music, performances, and creativity.
