South Korean girl band ITZY is all set to perform ‘THAT'S A NO NO’. The stage performance was teased on March 12 during the Next Week part of Mnet's M Countdown.
In response to the Daechu Nono frenzy, ITZY will perform THAT'S A NO NO from their second mini album IT'z ME, which was initially released in March 2020, on M Countdown. The mood will be heightened earlier on the 14th at 6 p.m. when ITZY releases a self-produced dance practice video for THAT'S A NO NO on their official social media platforms.
The world tour "ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR" (Tunnel Vision), which kicked off in February of last year, helped the band’s song gain popularity. The catchy tune and thrilling choreography of THAT'S A NO NO, which was originally performed at the concert, produced a synergistic impact.
ITZY made the unprecedented decision to perform a six-year-old song on a music broadcast stage as a result of the concert's cheering energy continuing online.
The video had crossed 3.61 million views, maintaining its high popularity since it peaked at number one on YouTube's domestic daily music video chart on March 8.
'THAT'S A NO NO' has dominated the algorithms on several SNS platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. K-pop seniors and juniors, including TWICE's Momo and Jihyo, NEXZ (NEXZ) TOMOYA, and KickFlip's Kyefun and Keiju, participated in the dance competition in addition to ITZY members.
K-pop fans' enthusiasm for "THAT'S A NO NO" was evident as it started at 961st place on the 2nd, kept rising, and leapt to 191st position on the 11th.
