BTS’ Jin has surprised fans across the globe with a major announcement just in time for the holidays. The vocalist revealed that his solo tour journey will soon be immortalised on the big screen through RUNSEOKJIN_EP. TOUR THE MOVIE, a documentary-style concert film chronicling his first-ever solo fan concert world tour. The movie is set to release in theatres worldwide on December 27, 2025.
The excitement surrounding the announcement grew further when Jin shared a short message for fans, echoing the motto he has carried throughout his tour: “Dojeon! (Challenge!) Until the day I meet every ARMY.”
According to the official release schedule, RUNSEOKJIN_EP. TOUR THE MOVIE will screen globally from December 27–28, while South Korean audiences will get additional screenings starting December 31. Ticket reservations open on December 5 for international viewers and December 17 within South Korea.
A statement on the sign-up page for Jin the movie describes the essence of the film and what fans can expect. It reads: “Jin has embarked on his first journey to connect with ARMY, whether in person or online. Spanning 10 cities and 20 performances - from Goyang to Japan, North America, Europe, and back to Incheon - the most thrilling moments of the tour are now ready to unfold on the big screen. With ‘challenge’ as its theme, the show sees ‘Worldwide Handsome’ Jin bring his signature energy to the stage, laughing, singing, and completing missions with ARMY across five energetic rounds.”

The film will also delve into Jin’s most memorable performances from his debut solo album Happy backed by a live band to tracks from his follow-up mini-album Echo. Additionally, fans will get to relive special moments where he performed iconic BTS songs, giving the tour a nostalgic yet distinctively personal touch.
Positioned as a “year-end party” for ARMY, the movie promises an emotional, music-filled celebration of Jin’s artistry and the global bond he shares with fans. With this project, Jin becomes the third BTS member to release a theatrical tour film, following SUGA’s and J-Hope’s successful concert documentaries.
