Saif Ali Khan's domestic help Eliyamma Phillip has filed a complaint of armed robbery at Bandra Police Station following an attack on the actor's residence in Bandra.

Basis her complaint an FIR was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for armed robbery and attempt to cause death or grievous hurt and house-trespass.

Eliyamma Phillips recounted the horrific incident that unfolded at Saif and Kareena's home on that fateful night of January 16.

Phillips, who has been with the Khan's for the past four years as Jeh's nanny, told police that when she first heard the sound of the intruder at around 2.30am, she thought it was Kareena who had come to check on the boys - Taimur and Jeh.

"I thought Kareena had come to see Jeh (Jehangir) baba and went to check. I didn't see her and went back to bed. But I thought something was amiss, and when I went back to look, I saw the shadow of a man…he came out of the bathroom and tried to enter Jeh baba's bedroom. I immediately raised an alarm."

Phillips said after seeing the intruder walking towards Jehangir's room, she rushed to save him where the man asked her 'Koi Awaz nahi, koi bahar nahi jayega....'

Eliyamma Phillip said she then picked up Jeh in her arms but the intruder lunged at her, attacking her with a wooden stick and a hacksaw blade on her wrist.

She asked the intruder what does he want and then he said "Money." How Much? "Rs 1 Crore."

According to Phillips in this commotion, Jeh slipped past her and left the room. Upon hearing Jeh's cries both the parents Saif and Kareena rushed out of their bedroom.

Seeing the intruder Saif asked 'Who are you? What do you want?' It is then that the man attacked Saif with the hacksaw 6 times.

Geeta, who is Taimur's nanny rushes out, but she is also attacked by the hacksaw blade.

During this commotion, the intruder hid himself in one of the bed rooms and locked himself. Hearing all the noise male staffers rush to the scene.

In the meanwhile, Geeta calls Saif's elder son Ibrahim who stays in the neighbouring building and he rushes to his father's home.

He then along with their another male staffer Hari rushes Saif to the hospital in an auto as there is no driver of their car.

At 5 am he was wheeled into the Operation Theatre.

DCP (Zone IX) Dikshit Gedam also told reporters yesterday "It is unclear how the intruder entered the flat as there is no forceful entry. He was seen leaving the building through the fire exit staircase, it was captured on CCTV."

On Thursday evening, the suspect was seen in the footage looking at the camera on his way out from the building from the fire escape stairwell. Bandra Police has formed ten teams and seven teams have been formed by the crime branch to trace the suspect.

Saif Ali Khan has undergone operation and is recovering at Lilavati hospital. His elder children Sara and Kareena looked visibly shaken by the attack.

His mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore reached the hospital late in the evening with her daughter Soha Ali Khan.
