Actor Kim Soo-Hyun has recently landed in trouble after his past relationship with late actress Kim Sae-Ron came into the limelight. The actor faced some serious allegations, including that he dated Sae-Ron when she was 15.
However, Kim Soo-Hyun's upcoming K-drama is now at risk of being delayed or even cancelled due to recent controversy. The upcoming Disney+ K-drama, Knock Off, has already completed half of the filming and now the project's future remains uncertain. The drama co-stars Jo Bo-Ah alongside Kim Soo-Hyun.
For the unaware, Kim Sae-Ron was found dead at her apartment in Seoul on February 16, 2025. The actress’ death fueled several controversies, especially after Soo-Hyun decided to ditch the actress’ funeral.
However, the speculations recently doubled after a phone conversation between YouTuber Kim Se-Ui and Kim Sae-Ron’s alleged aunt went viral on social media. According to the phone call, Kim Sae-Ron and Kim Soo-Hyun started dating each other in 2015.

The late actress was minor while Soo-Hyun was 27 years old at the beginning of their relationship. They reportedly dated for six years until 2021. The age gap sparked controversy and backlash all over social media. Additionally, Sae-Ron’s aunt blamed the actor for her death.
Kim Soo-Hyun is yet to address the controversy or the future of his upcoming projects. However, the actor’s agency, Gold Medalist, has denied all the allegations, but the investigation of Kim Sae-Ron’s death is going on, which could throw Soo-Hyun’s career at risk.
