Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep recently took to social media to unveil key details about his much-anticipated film Billa Ranga Baashaa (BRB). Along with revealing the official title, he also shared an update on the project’s current status, giving fans a glimpse into its progress and building excitement around the futuristic venture.
Kiccha took to X on Wednesday and shared that the project is officially on floors and the team has begun filming from April 16, 2025.
He shared a poster of the film BRB along with the caption, "2209 AD - #BRBFirstBlood. The journey begins today. To us, this mammoth dream and vision of our team,going on floor is an unparalled excitement."

Sudeep had previously stated that filming would start the second week of March. This announcement comes after his earlier update. But there were some delays in the shoot. Now that the project is formally underway, it is at last accelerating.

The Indian Express previously reported that the BRB, will mainly rely on visual effects and special effects to realise its vision. The team has planned an intense 20- to 25-day shooting schedule in these specially constructed environments, where the production will take place in painstakingly constructed 3D sets.
Although the makers haven't revealed much details about the cast, it stars Kiccha Sudeep and is directed by Anup Bhandari.
