Tollywood is buzzing with exciting updates, and the latest news has set fans talking. National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to share screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in Ravi Kiran Kola’s upcoming directorial, Rowdy Janardhan.

Vijay Deverakonda, who is currently gearing up for the release of his action drama Kingdom in May, already has a packed lineup. While Kingdom promises to showcase him in a massy, high-octane avatar, he has also committed to two other projects—one with Rahul Sankrityan and the other with Ravi Kiran Kola. Among these, Rowdy Janardhan has drawn special attention for pairing him with Keerthy for the very first time.

Reports suggest that the filmmakers initially approached Rukmini Vasanth for the lead role, but talks didn’t materialize. Keerthy, however, was impressed by the narration and quickly gave her nod. Known for bringing depth and relatability to her roles, she is expected to lend a strong emotional core to the movie. What makes this collaboration even more intriguing is that Keerthy will reportedly deliver her dialogues in the Godavari dialect, adding authenticity to the story’s rural backdrop.

Rowdy Janardhan is said to be a political action drama set against the backdrop of local politics. With Ravi Kiran Kola, who made a mark with his debut Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, steering the project, audiences can expect a film rich in rooted storytelling yet laced with mass appeal.
