Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is currently busy shooting his upcoming untitled romantic thriller. The actor visited Gangtok, Sikkim, to film the third installment in the Aashiqui franchise, but he got mobbed.

Kartik’s presence drew huge crowds of fans who mobbed him, making it difficult for him to reach the shoot location. Videos and photos from the sets have gone viral, showing Kartik surrounded by excited fans.

In a viral video, Kartik, wearing a green jacket, is mobbed by fans as he attempts to get to his car. Security guards intervene to escort him through the crowd. Amidst the frenzy, Kartik remains calm, taking time to click selfies and sign autographs for his enthusiastic fans.

However, another video from an event in Gangtok, organized by the film’s crew, is going viral. In the video, Kartik Aaryan and his co-star Sreeleela interact with the local community.

Previously, Kartik was spotted filming his upcoming film in Siliguri, Darjeeling. The actor interacted with his fans and said, “I love you” in Nepali. The video instantly went viral on social media with his fans praising him for his sweet gesture.

This upcoming film, which remains untitled, will serve as the Bollywood debut for South Indian actress Sreeleela, who stepped in to replace Triptii Dimri in the lead role due to unspecified reasons. The film is said to be a romantic musical and has already sparked excitement, with previously released set photos further fueling the anticipation.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, the film is said to feature an intense love story. The highly anticipated Anurag Basu directorial film is slated to hit the theatres on Diwali 2025. The upcoming movie is set to face off at the box office against Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.
