Kareena Kapoor has always been open about advocating natural beauty and healthy lifestyle. In a recent interview she revealed that she wants to age gracefully and naturally rather than go under the knife.
The actress recently launched her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar’s book. Speaking at the event, the 44-year-old actress said, “Age is just a number. My only thing is I always want to be fit to take on whatever old age brings. I want to be able to do what I have to do whether it has to go to sets at 70, 75. I want to keep working until 85, all my life.”
Kareena Kapoor emphasized her commitment to staying fit and healthy as she ages. She believes in nourishing her body with good food rather than resorting to fad diets or starvation, stressing the importance of eating right for overall well-being.
"I love it, I'm embracing it, but I'm taking all these particular things, like eating ghee, eating khichdi, doing a little bit of weight training for muscle strength, walking a little, my Surya Namaskars, doing my little work on my own rather than skin treatments and botox," she said.
Kareena also candidly spoke about her relationship with food, revealing that even during her early years when she was chubby, she always had a positive connection with it. She emphasized that she never resorted to starving herself to maintain her physique.
The Buckingham Murders actress remarked, "In my teenage years also, I think I was always really happy to pick up a packet of chips. But I was a confident girl... In the last 10–15 years, I have just gone back to the same food. I'm always very happy with it."

For those unfamiliar, Kareena achieved the 'zero size figure' during the early 2000s with the help of Rutuja Diwekar's diet.
On the work front, Kareena was seen in Rohit Shetty directed Singham Again which released in 2024.
