Jibraan Khan, best remembered as Krish, the son of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan’s characters in Karan Johar’s 2001 blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, transitioned to adult roles last year. Recently, a viral video captured a heartwarming reunion between K3G’s iconic character Anjali, played by Kajol, and her on-screen son Krish, leaving fans touched by the nostalgic moment.

Jibran also starred in Nipun Dharmadhikari’s romantic comedy Ishq Vishk Rebound, marking his debut as a lead actor. The film showcased his evolution as a performer, earning him recognition for stepping out of his child-star image and embarking on a promising new chapter in his career.

On Thursday evening, a paparazzo shared a video on Instagram from the premiere of Abhishek Kapoor’s historical action film Azaad. Jibraan Khan looked stylish in a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black leather jacket as he posed on the red carpet. While smiling for the cameras, he spotted Kajol arriving in a car and quickly rushed over to give her a warm hug.

The two exchanged a few words before going their separate ways. Kajol, dressed in a cape-style top and pants, looked stunning for the event.

Kajol's husband, Ajay Devgn, also features in Azaad, which marks the debut of his nephew Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani, the daughter of actress Raveena Tandon. Set in pre-Independence India, the period drama hits theatres today, January 17.

Other celebrities spotted at the premiere on Thursday included Ajay, actress Tamannaah Bhatia with rumoured boyfriend Vijay Varma, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan with his makeup artist wife Sshura Khan, social media influencer Orhan Awatramani (Orry), and producer Anand Pandit.

Jibraan is the son of actor Firoz Khan, who is widely recognized for portraying Arjuna in BR Chopra’s iconic TV series Mahabharat. Jibraan began his acting career as a child in Shakeel Noorani’s Bade Dilwala (1999). He went on to play the son of Govinda and Sushmita Sen in David Dhawan's Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta (2001), Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Anil Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor in Indra Kumar's Rishtey (2002). Most recently, he starred in Ishq Vishk Rebound, a spiritual sequel to Ishq Vishk (2003).

Kajol will next be seen in Maharagni, a highly anticipated project that promises to showcase her versatility. The film is set to explore rich historical themes, with Kajol playing a central role that is expected to captivate audiences.
