K-drama power couple Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In have made a major move in the luxury real estate market, securing a prestigious villa in one of Seoul’s most exclusive neighborhoods.The couple, both prominent entertainers, reportedly settled into a high-end unit at Lanuvo Hannam, an elite development within the celebrity-favorite UN Village in Hannam-dong.

This move comes after a record-setting Jeonse lease deal, marking a significant moment in the South Korean real estate scene for 2024 and 2025.
Lee Seung Gi, known for his role in the hit drama Vagabond, and his wife Lee Da In, a rising star in K-drama circles, made headlines when they finalized their Jeonse agreement in August 2024.

This traditional South Korean lease system requires tenants to pay a substantial lump-sum deposit in exchange for the right to occupy the property for several years. In this case, Lee Seung Gi’s unit, located on the second floor of the Lanuvo Hannam villa, covers an expansive 2,750 square feet.

The Jeonse amount was a jaw-dropping 10.5 billion KRW (approximately $7.2 million), making it the highest real estate transaction in Seoul for the coming years. The lease will run through August 2026, cementing the couple's place in this luxurious enclave.
The Lanuvo Hannam development is part of the highly coveted UN Village area in Hannam-dong, a neighborhood long popular with Korea’s wealthiest figures, including top-tier celebrities and business magnates.

This district is home to other iconic buildings like Nine One Hannam and Hannam Hill, where members of K-pop supergroups BTS and BIGBANG have made real estate investments. Notably, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In’s new neighbors include EXO’s Baekhyun, who also resides in this exclusive villa compound. Baekhyun’s presence adds to the allure of the area, as the Lanuvo Hannam is a modern, gated community featuring just four units, with each unit occupying an entire floor, ensuring privacy and luxury.

Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In’s relocation follows their wedding in April 2023 and the birth of their daughter in February 2024. Prior to this move, they lived in a commercial apartment in Samseong-dong. Their transition to the high-end Lanuvo Hannam not only symbolizes their growing prominence in the South Korean entertainment industry but also places them among an elite group of celebrities who call UN Village their home. With its exclusive offerings and unparalleled prestige, the area continues to be a magnet for Korea's rich and famous.
