Jyotika embarks on divine journey with Suriya to Kolhapur and Kamakhya

Famous for her timeless elegance and grace, actress Jyotika recently went on a spiritual pilgrimage with her husband, the well-known actor Suriya, to two of India's most revered Shakti Peethas: the Kamakhya Temple in Assam and the Mahalakshmi Temple in Kolhapur. The spiritual tour coincided with the beginning of the new year and marked the commencement of her next film project.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 46-year-old actress shared a heartfelt post, captioned: “Blessed to have visited the sacred Shakti peethas of Kolhapur Mahalakshmi and Kamakhya during the auspicious new year! Starting my next film… I thank you for your love and blessings always.” The post was accompanied by a beautiful series of photos that radiated devotion, elegance, and warmth.

Jyotika and Suriya are shown together in the first picture, both of them wearing traditional clothing and seeming calm. In one candid moment, Jyotika is seen making a symbolic act of prayer by tying a sacred cloth to the temple bell.

In another heartwarming photo, she is seen lighting a diya as Suriya, her loyal companion, stands close by, smiling quietly and holding her bag. Other photos show Jyotika praying and striking a beautiful pose against the old temples.

Jyotika's choice of a vivid red chiffon saree with a delicate golden border for her visit was classic and gave her appearance depth. She arranged the pallu so that it fell gracefully over her shoulder and wore the saree with a matching half-sleeved blouse. A classic gold temple necklace, bold earrings, a variety of black bangles, and a silver watch completed her look.

Jyotika opted for a subtle yet radiant beauty look, sporting a nude lip, softly flushed cheeks, and winged eyeliner. She completed her traditional look with a tidy, loose ponytail and a small red bindi on her forehead.
