Rumors of a split between Hailey and Justin Bieber are once again making headlines, igniting a wave of speculation on social media. The phrase “Are Hailey and Justin Bieber getting a divorce?” began trending after Justin shared a cryptic Instagram Story and Hailey made major business moves, raising questions about their marriage of six years.
The recent speculation stems from an Instagram Story Justin posted, showing a screenshot of a video call with rapper Lil Wayne, captioned: “It’s a painful walk but we got each other.” Fans interpreted the message as a possible reference to marital struggles. This, combined with lingering tabloid gossip, fueled theories that the couple might be headed for a breakup.
Adding to the buzz, Hailey Bieber recently closed a billion-dollar deal, selling her skincare brand Rhode to e.l.f. Beauty. The deal includes $800 million in cash and stock, with an additional $200 million contingent on future performance. Although headlines scream “billion-dollar sale,” financial analysts clarified that Hailey won’t personally walk away with the full amount due to existing investors and corporate payout structures.
Still, the financial milestone turned attention toward the couple’s lack of a prenuptial agreement. According to Page Six, multiple sources confirmed Justin and Hailey married in 2018 without one. A Hollywood divorce attorney told the outlet, “Because they live in California… the law states that anything created during marriage is community property.” That could complicate matters if the couple ever did decide to separate.

Hailey indirectly addressed the gossip in a recent Vogue interview, saying, “You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no.” Her comment seems aimed at the constant scrutiny their relationship faces. Meanwhile, Justin recently deleted a caption in which he admitted to telling Hailey she’d “never be on the cover of Vogue,” a milestone she has now achieved.
Financial dynamics have shifted in recent years. After Justin sold his music catalog in 2023—a deal reportedly worth over $200 million—Hailey has emerged as the couple’s primary earner. Despite Justin’s health struggles, including his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis, the couple remains united, owning multiple homes and traveling frequently.
