Juhi Chawla congratulates longtime friend Shah Rukh Khan on his first National Award, writes "You always give your ALL to every film you do"

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has recently won his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 2023 film Jawan. Several Bollywood celebrities congratulated the King Khan for receiving the prestigious award.

However, SRK’s best friend and actor Juhi Chawla has also congratulated the actor and expressed her excitement over the honour. She took to her Instagram and shared her happiness on Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘well-deserved’ National Award win.

She wrote on her Instagram, “@iamsrk HUGE Congratulations on winning the National Award!!!! Very happy for you … well deserved … you always give your ALL to every film you do!!! Keep Shining …!!! For the unversed, Shah Rukh and Juhi Chawla have been friends for over two decades after they met for the first time on the set of 1992’s film Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. They have co-starred in multiple hits like Darr, Yes Boss, Duplicate, and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.

SRK and Juhi also co-founded Dreamz Unlimited (later Red Chillies Entertainment) along with Aziz Mirza in 1999. However, Juhi later took a step back from the partnership. She and her husband, Jay Mehta, also co-own the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.

On the work front, Shah Rukh will next star in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming action thriller, King. The film will also star Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles.
