However, now after the show has taken a 20 year leap, rumours are rife that the show will bite the dust.

Television show Jhanak has a massive following among viewers. The show which aired on Star plus featured Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in the leading roles. The show took a leap making way for new stars namely, Riya Sharma and Arjit Taneja as Jhanak and Rishi.

Hiba and Krushal left a long lasting image of their stint and it was their deft of talent which was etched into the hearts of people.

However, now after the show has taken a 20 year leap, rumours are rife that the show will bite the dust.

The rumour mills started buzzing after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 promo dropped where it mentioned the time of 10:30 pm telecast. It is the same time slot of Jhanak. While as per reports, Jhanak is still on a good spot on TRP it is too soon to judge.

The audience is in love with the original pair and it takes time to gain acceptance when the show takes a leap.

Given the kind of plotline it has been running with the first generation, there might be a possibility of getting more engaging content given that new and popular projects are coming in.

As quoted by Pinkvilla, Arjit stated, "It’s definitely not going off air. Don’t know about the new time slot though."

Jhanak has made a special place in the hearts of the audience for sure and with Arjit affirming that the show is not going off-air, fans of the show can rejoice.
