In 2021, Jacqueline Fernandez's purported connection to scammer Sukesh Chandrashekhar made headlines. Now, it seems that the story is being adapted for streaming. Jacqueline has reportedly been asked to contribute by sharing her version of events in a compelling documentary series that a major OTT platform is producing about Sukesh's life, including the dramatic Rs 200 crore extortion scandal.
A Mid-Day report claims that the streaming behemoth plans to explore Sukesh Chandrashekhar's contentious life story in great detail, covering everything from his early lottery scams to the well-publicized luxury gifting scandal that shocked the country. According to project insiders, Jacqueline is being considered as a key voice for the series.
"She is the only star who can provide a firsthand account of what really happened. Her candor could make or break the storytelling," a source revealed.
However, the Judwaa 2 actress is reportedly taking her time. Even though the offer is reportedly alluring, Jacqueline is reportedly carefully considering the risks because her close friends and family have cautioned her about how her story may be presented in the end.
Meanwhile, a research team is already at work, crafting a narrative expected to blend elements of psychological thriller with an intricate societal study. "The idea is to juxtapose Sukesh’s legal battles with the alleged intricate methods he used, including wiretapping, high-profile bribes, and secret real estate deals," the insider added.
The writers' room hopes to finalise the structure by the end of this year, but the docuseries is still in its early stages of development. It is estimated that filming will start in the middle of 2026. To guarantee factual accuracy and the necessary clearances, legal teams are actively involved.

Sukesh recently made headlines by writing a heartfelt letter to Jacqueline after her mother Kim passed away on April 6, which added a new emotional layer to the story. Sukesh assured Jacqueline that her mother would continue to be a "guardian angel" for them in the letter, which also detailed planning a mass at the Vatican and dedicating a garden in Bali with Kim's favourite flowers.
Should Jacqueline agree to take part, the docu-series promises an unprecedented insight into one of Bollywood’s most sensational scandals.
