Ishita Dutta reveals both she and son Vaayu were hospitalised: It's been a really tough month

Actress Ishita Dutta revealed that she and her son Vaayun had not been keeping well and were hospitalised in July. The actress revealed that she has not been keeping well for the past one month and has lost a drastic weight.

Ishita took to her Instagram Story and shared a photo of her and her son Vaayu’s hands with cannulas. She also revealed that her son, Vaayu, is also not doing well.

Alongside the photo, she spoke about her struggles of being away from her newborn girl, Veda, due to her health woes. She wrote, “It's been a really tough month.... At a time when I was supposed to be with my newborn, I was making hospital rounds instead. Thankfully, both Vaayu and I are much better now.”

Ishita continued, “A lot of you have been asking me about my weight loss - it wasn't deliberate, just a result of being unwell.”

Ishita’s husband, Vatsal Sheth, has been taking care of her and their kids during the tough time.

Ishita frequently shares glimpses of her kids on social media. She had also documented her pregnancy journey and shared several pics from her maternity shoots.

Ishita welcomed her second child, a daughter, Veda, with husband Vatsal Sheth on June 10, 2025. The couple had announced their second pregnancy in February 2025.

On the work front, Ishita Dutta was previously seen in Drishyam 2 and is gearing up for its upcoming instalment,  Drishyam 3. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Rajat Kapoor and others in key roles.
