Actor Ishita Dutta is embracing motherhood once again with grace and honesty. In a heartfelt note, she shared her experience with her second pregnancy, delivery, and rapid postpartum recovery, hoping to encourage and inform fellow mothers-to-be.
Reflecting on her childbirth experience, Ishita shared, “Both deliveries were vaginal. Yes, I got stitches but very few this time and they have healed already. Both my babies are pre-term, born at 36 weeks.” She emphasized how every woman’s journey is unique. “Yes, I do believe it’s a faster recovery with vaginal delivery, but it’s best to ask your doctor. Every body is different, every pregnancy is different. You need to do what’s best for you,” she said, addressing expectant mothers with warmth and reassurance.
Ishita also highlighted the unpredictability of labor outcomes. “There’s no way to guarantee a vaginal delivery. I would suggest eat healthy, be physically active (unless otherwise advised by your doctor). I know women who have done everything by the book but during delivery there was some situation that led to a C-section,” she explained, adding that sometimes the decision is medical or personal.
Just 22 days postpartum, Ishita’s transformation has caught attention, and she didn’t shy away from revealing her lifestyle choices. “The weight loss has been massive. I’ve been on a very healthy diet – no sugar, lots of veggies, nuts, seeds, fruits, soups and absolutely no junk,” she wrote. Keeping her meals light and homemade with less oil, she believes breastfeeding also contributed significantly. “Breastfeeding makes you lose a lot of calories,” she shared.
With her honest and relatable revelations, Ishita Dutta continues to inspire young mothers navigating pregnancy and motherhood, encouraging them to listen to their bodies and prioritize their health above all.
