Ishaan Khatter is generating a lot of buzz about his potential plus one in addition to his spectacular Cannes Film Festival 2025 debut. The actor is reportedly accompanied by his rumoured girlfriend, Chandni Bainz, as he travels to France for the world premiere of his upcoming movie, Homebound.

Speculation about their romantic getaway gained traction after Chandni posted a snapshot on her Instagram Stories. The photo featured a scenic French street with a visible signboard that read “Cannes Riviera,” confirming her presence in the iconic city.

She captioned the photo with a cheerful “Hello Hello,” which sent the internet buzzing with curiosity.

Prior to Chandni’s subtle reveal, Ishaan set social media ablaze with a series of pictures from Cannes, turning the charming French streets into his personal runway. Oozing confidence and charisma, the actor shared stylish glimpses of himself from the festival, captioning the post, “Bonjour festival de Cannes.” His suave appearance had fans swooning, and the buzz only intensified with Chandni’s coinciding post.

For the premiere of Homebound, a movie written and directed by renowned director Neeraj Ghaywan, Ishaan is ready to walk the coveted Cannes red carpet. Produced by Karan Johar, the project has been chosen for Cannes 2025's Un Certain Regard section. Ishaan and Janhvi Kapoor share on-screen time in the movie, which is another intriguing partnership between the two rising stars.

Sharing his excitement about the film’s selection, Ishaan recently posted an emotional note on Instagram. He wrote, “We’re ‘HOMEBOUND’ to Cannes babyyyyyyy. A film that I knew was special from the moment it entered my life and my most challenging part yet. This is what dreams are made of. Pure intention, grit, compassion and truth. One of the proudest moments of my cinematic journey thus far.”

Since the two were first seen leaving a Mumbai restaurant hand in hand in July 2024, there have been rumours circulating about Ishaan and Chandni's relationship.
