Singer Neha Kakkar found herself at the center of attention today as photos alleging her arrest surfaced online and quickly went viral. Rumours suggested that the singer was detained in connection with a trading scam, sparking widespread speculation.
The viral images circulating online show Neha Kakkar in tears as she appears to be in police custody, accompanied by a law enforcement officer. The photos were widely shared with captions alleging her involvement in a trading scam, adding to the growing buzz around the situation. The caption read, 'Tragic end to Neha Kakkar's career! This morning's news was a shock to all Indian people!'
However, these images of Neha Kakkar were digitally manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI) and are completely false. The singer has no connection to the alleged scam. The pictures were created by morphing Neha's face onto another individual's body, misleading viewers and spreading misinformation.
Several celebrities have been targeted by deepfake images circulated on social media in the past. Prominent names like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Katrina Kaif have all fallen victim to AI-generated fake visuals.
