Renowned music composer Anirudh Ravichander is currently in the news for his alleged relationship with Kavya Maran, the daughter of media mogul and Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran.

The two are allegedly dating and may soon be getting married, according to a Reddit post that went viral and generated a lot of rumours.

Despite the fact that neither Anirudh nor Kavya have issued an official statement, the rumours have gone viral on social media.

Allegedly, Anirudh, 34, and Kavya, 32, have been dating for over a year. The Reddit post claims, “It is being speculated that music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran – daughter of Sun TV’s Kalanithi Maran and owner of the Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL team – are in a relationship. Reports suggest that superstar Rajinikanth has personally spoken to Kalanithi Maran about their relationship, leading to expectations that the couple may tie the knot soon.”

Rumours intensified after the pair were recently spotted enjoying a dinner outing together. Several Reddit users chimed in with their personal accounts, claiming to have seen the two together on more than one occasion, albeit maintaining a low profile.

One user noted, “Might actually be true seeing how I have seen in other subs where people said they have seen both of them having dinner at star hotels.” Another claimed, “I myself have seen them in Las Vegas a year back, they were having a good personal time walking down the Vegas strip.”

In an unexpected twist, a fan mentioned a past interview where a tarot reader predicted Anirudh would marry “someone who is very well educated and someone who’s in the telecommunication broadcasting industry,” further fuelling the speculation.

Anirudh has a long history of artistic excellence. He is the nephew of Latha Rajinikanth and the son of classical dancer Lakshmi and actor Ravi Raghavendra.
