Sufi Motiwala has quickly become a name to watch, thanks to his growing presence both online and on screen. Currently seen in Do You Wanna Partner alongside Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty on Amazon Prime Video, Sufi is relishing the opportunity to bring his unique personality and perspective to audiences. In an exclusive chat with Moneycontrol.com, Sufi poured his heart out.

“Hello, I am so excited to be here,” Sufi shared, reflecting on how his Instagram fashion journey shaped the performer he is today. “Sufi Motiwala, the Instagram fashion page that I have created, is a very vital part of my personality. So, I think it will remain for the rest of my life. Of course, in my way of speaking and the way that I present my content, there can be changes. But I think I will always do that.”

For Sufi, acting wasn’t about easy doors opening but about persistence. “Do You Wanna Partner was the first show of my life that I signed. After that, I did Traitors. So, let’s see how difficult it is to get the role after this show,” he explained.

His role as Firdaus in Do You Wanna Partner holds a special place. “I am playing the role of Firdaus, Diana’s younger brother. Diana and Tamanna are best friends who want to create a beer brand in the industry, and they spend most of their time at our house. The youngest child in the house ends up being their mirror, telling them if they are doing business right or wrong.”

Working with Diana Penty was another highlight. “It was so good. It was like hanging out with your best friends for 30 days in a row. Of course, I have learned a lot from her—like patience, dedication, and giving your 100% every single time.”

Still, the journey comes with challenges. “The biggest fear for me is that I don’t want to peak in my 21st life. What if I don’t get any other opportunity after this? I have to constantly reinvent myself every year and show different facets of my life so that people stay interested.”

As for his style inspirations, Sufi looks both globally and closer to home. “I think the most stylish celebrity right now is Lara Raj from Catseye. I am forever biased to Rekha Ji and Jhanvi Kapoor.” And when it comes to Bollywood, his loyalties are clear: “Salman Khan for me. My father was a big Salman Khan fan, so he made us a big Salman Khan fan. Now we have to maintain loyalty.”

Looking ahead, Sufi wants to keep experimenting. “My future plans are to just continue doing content on Instagram while also auditioning for more stuff. And I also love writing. I love writing poetry and stories.”

For now, Sufi Motiwala is balancing fashion, acting, and storytelling with the same energy that made him a social media favorite. And if his passion is anything to go by, this is only the beginning.
