Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s much-anticipated debut film, Naadaniyan, which premiered on Netflix on March 7, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The film has received a wave of mixed reviews, with a significant section of viewers expressing disappointment over its execution.

Social media is flooded with criticism, as audiences have called out the film for its lackluster performances, weak chemistry between the leads, and dialogues deemed "cringe-worthy." Many have even labeled the movie "unwatchable," leading to relentless trolling and a surge of negative reviews online.

Despite having a hefty budget, an engaging storyline, and melodious tracks, Naadaniyan failed to impress audiences. Viewers were quick to call out its flawed execution, with social media buzzing with criticism. One user harshly criticized the film, stating that despite having the budget, a solid storyline, and good music, the lead pair failed to deliver due to their lack of acting skills, chemistry, and screen presence.

A Fan wrote on X, "Unbelievably unbearable! They had the budget, a good story, and a nice song, but the lead pair lacked acting skills, chemistry, and screen presence too."

Another fan posted, "#NaadaniyanReview: UNWATCHABLE! #Naadaniyan is an excuse of a film where no one acts, directs, edits and no one would’ve watched in cinemas! #MereHusbandKiBiwi looks Oscar-worthy in comparison! #IbrahimAliKhan & #KhushiKapoor lack acting skills, screen presence & charisma."

Khushi Kapoor’s performance faced significant criticism, with one viewer sarcastically remarking that after watching her act, they had gained even more respect for Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Suhana Khan.

Naadaniyan follows the story of Pia, a beloved and affluent girl who, after a misunderstanding turns her friends against her, convinces Arjun—a driven and career-focused new student—to pretend to be her boyfriend. Starring Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the lead roles, the film also features veteran actors Jugal Hansraj, Dia Mirza, Mahima Chaudhry, and Suniel Shetty. Adding to the buzz, social media personalities Orry, Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), and Agastya Shah make cameo appearances.
