Neil Patrick Harris, known for his role in How I Met Your Mother, has recently expressed his disbelief over how quickly his kids are growing up.

He took to Instagram and shared a photo of his twins, son Gideon and daughter Harper, revealing that they are now entering high school. He shared a pic of the duo with the MacBook as they look at each other. Only the half faces of the kids are visible in the pic.

Alongside the photo, Neil penned in the caption, “The kids are entering high school this year (how wait what??), and they are at last allowed to rid themselves of their Chromebook anchors and ascend to the world of the MacBook. Huzzah!”

For the unversed, Neil Patrick Harris has been married to David Burtka since 2014. Pamela Fryman, the long-time director of How I Met Your Mother, officiated their Italy wedding. Meanwhile, legendary singer Elton John performed at the reception.

The well-known Hollywood couple have been together since April 2004. They met on a street corner in New York City. The couple became parents to twins, son Gideon and daughter Harper, born via a surrogate mother in October 2010.

On the work front, Neil Patrick Harris rose to fame for his portrayal of Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother. He has since starred in several films and shows like A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Smurfs, Dexter: Resurrection, among others.
