Housefull 5 box office collection day 5: Akshay Kumar starrer goes steady, earns Rs 111 crore

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has returned to the Housefull franchise with Housefull 5, and the movie has not failed to impress the audience.

Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, has struck a chord with the audience. The movie has now been running steadily at the box office.

Housefull 5 stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Soundarya Sharma in the lead roles.

According to the trade website Sacnilk.com, the movie has done business of over Rs 110 crore. Housefull 5 managed to collect Rs 10.75 cr on its first Tuesday.

Housefull 5 had an overall occupancy of 17.50% in Hindi on Tuesday. The film became the fastest in the franchise to enter the Rs 100 crore club.

Murder on a cruise forms the centre of the comedic plot. Just after a millionaire declares that Jolly would inherit his fortune, a guy gets brutally killed. The plot twist involves three Jollys—Akshay, Riteish, and Abhishek—who are on the trip.

All of their girlfriends are also under suspicion for the crime. Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B are the two alternate endings that were released. The actors, together with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, asked fans to watch the film twice, once for each ending, in a video released before its release.

Housefull 5 had a strong start at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹55 crore net in India and ₹87 crore worldwide in two days.

Housefull 5 stars an ensemble cast that includes Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Ranjeet, Johny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chunky Panday, Dino Morea, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma.
