Hollywood actor Megan Fox has recently joined the upcoming supernatural horror film Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.
According to Variety, Meghan will voice the character of Toy Chica in the 2023 follow-up to Five Nights at Freddy's. The casting news was announced during Jason Blum’s BlumFest panel at New York Comic-Con on Friday.
lack Phone 2 was one of several upcoming Blumhouse projects that were honoured at the event. At the event, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse also unveiled new voice actors. MatPat and Kellen Goff will voice Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy, respectively.
Directed by Emma Tammi, the cast of the upcoming film also features Skeet Ulrich, McKenna Grace, Elizabeth Lail and Josh Hutcherson.
Based on the 2014 video game Five Nights at Freddy's, the film is set to release in theatres on December 5.
Josh Hutcherson, who played a security guard at the pizzeria in the 2023 original, returns in the sequel as well. The cast of the sequel also includes Elizabeth Lail, Matthew Lillard, and Piper Rubio.
The names of the mechanical monsters returning for the Five Nights at Freddy's sequel have not yet been revealed by the studio. It did, however, reveal a new tagline that says, "Anyone can survive five nights." There won't be any second chances this time.
Meghan was most recently seen in the thriller Subservience and the comedy series Overcompensating, alongside Michele Morrone.
For the unversed, Meghan Fox made her acting debut in 2001 with Steve Purcell's directorial Holiday in the Sun alongside Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
However, she became an overnight sensation with her 2007 film, Transformers. Directed by Michael Bay, the film also starred Shia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel.
Her latest work is "Subservience", where she starred alongside Michele Morrone. The science fiction thriller was directed by Scott Dale. It also featured Madeline Zima, Doroteya Toleva and Kate Nichols in pivotal roles.
