Fans have been eagerly awaiting visiting the wizarding world once again with HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series. The series is still in production, but the makers already have the potential release date.
In a recent interview with Deadline, Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content, teased the Harry Potter series release date and said, “We’ve been saying 2027.”
He added, “I would say, to narrow it down to some extent, early 2027. And now you’re going to ask, does that mean January, February, March, April, that we’re not ready to say. I’ll say early 2027.”

Harry Potter series release date has been set for 2027 as it was being written, cast, and put into production during the past year.
The series, which has been filming in the UK since the summer, stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger.
Tristan Harland will portray Fred Weasley, Gabriel Harland plays George, Ruari Spooner will play Percy, and Gracie Cochrane has been cast as Ginny.
Paapa Essiedu will play Severus Snape, John Lithgow will star as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer will play Professor McGonagall, and Nick Frost will add his own twist to Hagrid. With that talent roster, the bar is already set very high.

Television and Brontë Film and TV, are executive-produced and directed by Mark Mylod. Rowling, David Heyman of Heyday Films, and Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts of Brontë Film and TV are also executive producers. Recently, Hans Zimmer joined as a composer.
