Veteran Hollywood actress Diane Keaton, known for her role in The Godfather, died on Saturday, October 11, at age 79. The cause of her death is yet to be confirmed.
However, a 911 call revealed the new details of the events following Diane Keaton’s death.
According to TMZ, Diane Keaton was transported from her Los Angeles-area home via ambulance to a nearby hospital just moments before her death. The 911 dispatch audio to the fire department revealed a "person down."
According to the dispatch audio obtained by the outlet, a dispatcher can be heard saying to the Los Angeles Fire Department, before giving Diane Keaton’s address.
LAFD arrived at the actress’ house at 8:08 am on Saturday, and an ambulance took her to a local hospital.
A source close to Diane Keaton said at the time, “She declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her. It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit.”

The actress took her last breath surrounded by her close ones, which included daughter Dexter, 29, and son Duke, 25. She adopted both of her children as a single mother in her 50s.
“In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private. Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening,” added the source.
Diane Keaton had been open about her health issues over the years, particularly her struggles with bulimia and skin cancer. However, she had not revealed any new medical diagnoses.
