The first poster of Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s  movie Ek Deewane Ki DEEWAANIYAT was unveiled today and the movie will hit cinemas this Diwali, (October 21).

Harshvardhan’s brooding charm meets Sonam’s fierce elegance in the first poster. The film is going to be a ‘Musical Obsessive Romantic Drama,’ and the buzz is only growing louder.

Director Milap Milan Zaveri couldn’t hide his excitement and said: “This is a passionate love story at its core. Harshvardhan and Sonam’s chemistry is electrifying, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it this Diwali.”

Fans of Rane, who’s still riding high on the success of Sanam Teri Kasam after its re-release earlier this year—flooded X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram with heart emojis and fire GIFs.

The project carries weight for several reasons. It’s being produced by Anshul Garg under his banner Desi Music Factory—marking his first big leap into film production after reshaping India’s pop music scene. Raghav Sharma joins as co-producer.

Mushtaq Shaikh penned the story, with Zaveri and Milap Milan Zaveri sharing writing credits. Securing a Diwali release slot—a space usually owned by Bollywood’s biggest names—signals just how confident the makers are about this one.

The film not only pairs Harshvardhan and Sonam for the first time, but also positions itself as a festival entertainer with music, drama, and a good dose of obsession.
