Emraan Hashmi starrer highly anticipated action thriller, Ground Zero, hit the theatres in April and received positive reviews from the audience. The film also earned a decent Box Office collection. However, fans have since eagerly waiting for the film to hit the OTT platform.
Ground Zero is now premiering on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, starting from June 20. The official Instagram handle of the streaming platform shared a series of photos from the film and announced, “Amidst the shadow of terror, one officer’s fight becomes the spark #GroundZeroOnPrime, Watch Now.”
Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film features an ensemble cast, including Sai Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain, and Mukesh Tiwari in lead roles.
The latest action-thriller drama is inspired by true events and promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The film delves into the complexities of counter-terrorism operations and captures the high stakes of the mission.
Ground Zero is set against the tense backdrop of Kashmir and explores the remarkable two-year investigation led by BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey and his team to uncover the mastermind behind the 2001 Parliament attack.
Ground Zero notably created history by becoming the first film in 38 years to have a red carpet premiere in Srinagar, Kashmir. The film explores patriotism, and the makers wanted to show the film first to the Army officers standing on the line of defence.
