Victoria Goodwin, the wife of Aaron Goodwin, a star from the TV show Ghost Adventures, has been arrested for trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband. Victoria, 31, was reportedly taken into custody last week after police found messages that showed she was trying to hire a hitman. According to reports, she contacted an inmate in a Florida prison in October 2024 and offered $11,515 to arrange the murder.

Police found text messages where Victoria allegedly said, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

Authorities discovered these messages on the prison inmate’s phone. Victoria was then arrested on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder. At the time of her arrest, she was held on a $100,000 bail.

Reports suggest that Victoria was unhappy in her marriage and wanted out. In her messages, she admitted to the inmate that she was struggling, saying, “I told him I was unhappy, but I just want out.” Instead of getting a divorce, she allegedly planned her husband’s murder.

The plan was discovered while Aaron was filming Ghost Adventures in California. Victoria had reportedly given the hitman details about Aaron’s location during his travels. She even sent a $2,500 down payment to the hitman.

While this was happening, Aaron had no idea about his wife’s alleged plan. He was happily posting pictures with Victoria on Instagram, including a Valentine’s Day post. This shocked fans, as his posts made it seem like their marriage was going well.

After being arrested, Victoria denied the accusations. She claimed she was only daydreaming about life without her husband and never intended to follow through with the plan. She blamed her messages on emotional distress.

Many fans of Ghost Adventures were shocked by the news. Some commented on Aaron’s Instagram, sending messages of support. Aaron’s co-host, Zak Bagans, also expressed his concern and said the situation was emotionally taxing for Aaron.
