Gauahar Khan, a well-known Indian actress and model, has recently invested in Mumbai's real estate market. She has purchased three apartments in Versova, a popular residential area, for a total of Rs 10.13 crore. The properties are all located within the same residential complex, Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society Limited.

According to official property registration documents, one of the apartments, costing Rs 2.80 crore, is registered solely under Gauahar's name. This apartment has a carpet area of approximately 1,105 sqft and a built-up area of about 1,326 sqft. The purchase also includes a dedicated parking space for her car. In addition to the apartment cost, she paid nearly Rs 14 lakh in stamp duty and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.

Gauahar didn't stop there. She and her husband, Zaid Darbar, jointly purchased two more apartments in the same building. These two units together cost Rs 7.33 crore. Their combined carpet area is about 2,393 sqft, and the built-up area is close to 2,873 sqft. This joint purchase also comes with two parking spaces. For these two apartments, they paid almost Rs 44 lakh in stamp duty plus the standard Rs 30,000 registration fee.

Information from Square Yards, a real estate research firm, shows that the Shiv Kutir housing society has seen a fair amount of property transactions recently. Between February 2024 and January 2025, five sales were registered there, totaling Rs 14 crore. The average price for properties being resold in the building is currently around Rs 25,387 per sqft.

Versova is a sought-after area in Mumbai's western suburbs. It's well-connected, making it easy to travel to important business and entertainment areas. The metro system and good roads, like Link Road and the Western Express Highway, provide excellent access to places like Andheri and Bandra. Versova also has good schools, hospitals, and shopping areas, which makes it a desirable place to live for both people who want to live there and those who are investing in property.

Gauahar Khan's career began with modeling. In 2002, she participated in the Femina Miss India contest, where she was very successful, finishing fourth and winning the "Miss Talented" award. She then appeared in several popular music videos, including the widely recognized "Hawa Mein Udati Jaaye" by Bombay Vikings. A major highlight of her career was winning the reality show Bigg Boss 7 in 2013. Gauahar continues to work in the Hindi film and television industry.
