Gauhar Khan announces arrival of second child

Actor and reality TV personality Gauahar Khan is a mother again. The Bigg Boss 7 winner and her husband, choreographer Zaid Darbar, have welcomed their second child — a baby boy — and the internet can’t get enough of the happy news.

The announcement dropped on Instagram late Monday night, September 1, in the form of an illustrated card that fans are already calling “the cutest reveal of the year.” The post read: “Bismillah hir Rahmaan nir Raheem. Zehaan is overjoyed to graciously share his kingdom with his new baby brother born on Sept 1, 2025. Seeking everyone’s continued love and blessings for our elated family. Grateful and giggling parents, Zaid and Gauahar.”

She captioned the post as, "Alhamdulillah"

The message also made sure to include their firstborn, Zehaan, who arrived in May 2023. The card showed a lion and lioness cuddling two cubs under hot-air balloons, a playful nod to the family of four they’ve now become.

Industry friends, fellow actors, and thousands of fans rushed to the comments section. “What a blessing, congrats to you both,” one user wrote, while another added, “That card is frame-worthy.” It’s worth noting, Gauahar has always been transparent about her journey into motherhood. Her first pregnancy had fans hooked through social media updates, and the second has been no different.

The couple, who married in December 2020, have often shared glimpses of their family life. Gauahar, meanwhile, continues juggling projects and endorsements, while Zaid keeps followers entertained with his reels and behind-the-scenes snippets.

With two little boys now at home, the Khan-Darbar household is busier than ever, but also buzzing with joy. As one fan put it best: “Double trouble, double blessings.”
