Game Changer box office collection day 3: Ram Charan starrer political drama performs steady, earns Rs 17 cr

Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and SJ Suryah, continues to perform strongly at the box office, with a reported total of Rs 89.6 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk.

The Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and SJ Suryah starrer Game Changer continues to hold its ground at the box office with steady performance. As per reports by Sacnilk, the film has garnered a total of Rs 89.6 crore net in India so far.

On Sunday, Game Changer reportedly earned approximately Rs 17 crore net across all languages, according to early estimates shared by Sacnilk.

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, Game Changer recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 30.00%, Tamil occupancy of 18.81%, and Hindi occupancy of 19.24%, reflecting its steady audience turnout across multiple languages.

The Hindi version of Game Changer showcased a solid performance, earning Rs 22.5 crore by day three. The film garnered Rs 7.7 crore on Sunday, Rs 7.3 crore on Saturday, and Rs 7.5 crore on Friday, reflecting consistent collections over the weekend.

Game Changer, which hit theaters on January 10, showcases Ram Charan in an impressive triple role. He portrays H. Ram Nandan IAS, his father Appanna, and his younger brother H. Charan IPS. The film follows the journey of Ram Nandan as he fights to expose corrupt politicians who shatter his father Appanna's dream of creating a corruption-free nation. While Suryah plays the role of a corrupt politician, Kiara Advani plays Ram's wife, Deepika.

Ahead of Game Changer's release, the film's makers had requested special permissions from the state government, resulting in an order on January 3 allowing six shows on January 10, including an additional 4 a.m. screening. The order also approved increased ticket prices, with an extra charge of ₹150 for multiplexes and ₹100 for single-screen theatres.

However, on January 10, the High Court issued interim directions to reassess the decision on the ticket price hike within 24 hours of receiving the order. Additionally, the court directed that early morning shows would not be permitted.An official statement released on Saturday night confirmed that the orders revoking permission to screen Game Changer at the increased ticket prices would come into effect starting January 16.
