Bollywood actor Tiku Talsania was recently hospitalized after experiencing a brain stroke. His daughter, actress Shikha Talsania gave health update about her father on social media today expressed gratitude for the support and care provided by the doctors and staff at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
Shikha took to Instagram to update fans, assuring them that his condition has now stabilized. She wrote, "Thank you for all your prayers and concern. It’s been an emotional time for all of us but we are happy to share that dad is doing much better now and is recuperating well. We are grateful to the Doctors and Staff at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for everything that they have done and to his fans for all the love that’s come our way in abundance."
Reports on Saturday initially stated that Tiku Talsania had suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized. However, on Sunday, his wife, Deepti Talsania, clarified that it was, in fact, a brain stroke that had caused his hospitalization.
Deepti told NDTV, "He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He had gone to attend a film screening and started feeling unwell around 8 pm. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.”
Tiku Talsania, celebrated for his impeccable comic timing, has been a familiar face in Hindi cinema for decades. He began his film career in 1986 with Rajeev Mehra’s Pyaar Ke Do Pal. Over the years, Talsania earned recognition for his memorable performances in iconic films like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Andaz Apna Apna, and Mr. Bechara. His roles in comedies such as Jodi No. 1 and Ishq. More recently, he appeared in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. Tiku continues to bring laughter to the screen with his signature style and unmatched charm.
