Actor Nani is gearing up to star in the Sailesh Kolanu’s directorial film, HIT: The Third Case. However, there have been rumours swirling around the social media that an IT  Tamil actor will make a surprise appearance at the end of HIT 3, potentially setting the stage for the franchise's fourth installment.

However, Sailesh has recently responded to the leaks, indirectly confirming that the rumours were accurate. The filmmaker took to his X account and shared his frustration over the major plot leak.

He wrote, “For every single moment of excitement that is experienced in the cinemas by our audience, there is a story of a huge team working relentlessly for days and nights together, slogging beyond their physical capabilities. All for that moment of impact that we want to create in the auditorium. We take pride in that.”

Sailesh then criticized the media for spoiling the film's ending. He also questioned the ethics of those responsible for the leak and continued in his rant, “It’s sad to see the plight of the media scenario today, some of whom don’t think even for a second before leaking details about the kind of moments that are meant to be enjoyed while watching the movie in the theatres only.”

He further noted in his tweet, “While the nature of job to report first is understandable, it boils down to the values and ethics of individual journalist and media houses to assess if it’s right or wrong to report the findings.”

Sailesh wrapped up his lengthy rant by stating that the leakers had not only betrayed the film's team but also deprived the audience of a genuine viewing experience, essentially "stealing" from both parties.

He wrote, “There are moments in the history where journalists raised above their job description and chose not to report some events just because it’s not correct. I only wish these certain bunch of people had that kind of class. This kind of reporting is not just stealing a film crew’s hard work, it’s equivalent to stealing directly from the audience.”

For the unversed, Nani is all set to over Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh as a cop solving a new case. Srinidhi Shetty will play Nani’s love interest, Mrudula. The film is set to be released on May 1st in theatres.
