Farah Khan reveals Dilip big earnings from YouTube

Through her wildly popular vlogs, filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has unintentionally made her long-time cook, Dilip, an unlikely social media celebrity.

In the latest episode, which was shot at the upscale Mumbai home of actor Shruti Haasan, Farah answered one of her fans' most common queries: does Dilip get paid more or receive royalties for appearing in her YouTube videos?

A warm meal of freshly made sambar and dosa, prepared by Shruti herself, was enjoyed during the visit, along with some light-hearted banter. Shruti treated Farah and Dilip to a song and performed an original piano piece, demonstrating her artistic talent beyond acting.

Farah, meanwhile, disclosed a little-known fact about Dilip's past: he had previously collaborated with renowned composer Shankar Mahadevan on the oddball song Meri Pagar Badhao.

Without divulging specifics, Farah answered the burning question about Dilip’s remuneration with a playful yet telling remark: “Yes, he gets a lot, more than everyone here put together.” When Shruti good-naturedly remarked, “We were just worried about Dilip,” Farah shot back with her signature humour, “Don’t be worried about him, be worried about me.”

Farah has turned what started out as informal kitchen conversations into a polished, incredibly entertaining vlog format since the start of her YouTube cooking series in 2024.

Bollywood stars, such as Vijay Varma, Kajol, and Ananya Panday, frequently appeared on the show. They join Farah and Dilip for home-cooked meals, lively banter, and lots of laughter. With his effortless charm, witty banter, and modest demeanour, Dilip has become a crowd favourite and frequently steals the show from the celebrity guests.

Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan is in full promotional swing for her upcoming action thriller Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The much-anticipated film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir, with a special cameo by Aamir Khan. Slated for release on 14 August, Coolie is set to lock horns at the box office with War 2, starring Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan — making it one of the most high-voltage cinematic clashes of the year.
