Emraan Hashmi, Adivi Sesh's G2 locks release date, see new poster

Goodachari sequel will release next year

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Emraan Hashmi, Adivi Sesh and Wamiqa Gabbi's starrer G2, and the makers have just increased their excitement with the latest update. The makers have just unveiled the release date and the new look poster of the film on the seventh anniversary of Goodachari (2018).

G2 is slated to hit the theatres on May 1, 2026. Emraan took to his Instagram and shared the poster that featured him alongside Adivi. He revealed in the caption that his action role in the upcoming film is one of his most challenging ones.

He wrote, “This is my most challenging and action role. Can’t wait for you all to see it next summer. #G2 WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON MAY 1st, 2026.”

With a strong cast that includes Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, and Madhu Shalini, G2 is preparing to deliver an engaging experience filled with action, suspense, and intense drama.

G2 is described as a sleek and thrilling film that marks the return of Adivi Sesh as the sharp and determined spy, Gopi. The film is directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and backed by major production companies, including TG Vishwa Prasad, People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments.

The original film, Goodachari, was a game-changing success that revitalised Indian spy cinema with its tight screenplay, realistic action, and Adivi Sesh’s standout performance.
