Kangana Ranaut's highly anticipated directorial debut finally made its way to theatres this Friday after a lengthy delay. Despite the film's delayed release, it had a modest opening, with a collection of Rs 2.35 crore on its first day, as reported by Sacnilk.

However, this performance marked a significant milestone for Kangana, as it became her biggest opening in the past five years, following the pandemic. The film’s first-day earnings suggest a strong start at the box office, with Rs 2.35 crore net in India.

According to Sacnilk, Emergency earned a total of Rs 2.90 crore worldwide on its opening day, January 17, 2025. The film had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 19.26%, with morning shows bringing in 5.98%, afternoon shows at 13.95%, evening shows at 20.86%, and night shows seeing a higher turnout of 36.25%.
