Amazon Prime Video is all set to bring a new comedy series, Dupahiya, starring Laapataa Ladies actor Sparsh Shrivastava. The makers have recently dropped the trailer of the series, creating buzz among the viewers.
The makers of the film shared the trailer on Instagram on Monday and the caption read, “Some stories are written, some are lived and then there are those that are built with love, laughter, and a little bit of madness. Dupahiya is all that and more. From the first scribbles on paper to bringing this world to life, this has been a journey of friendship, passion, and an unshakable belief in the magic of storytelling. To our incredible team Avinash, Chirag, Sonam, and the entire Dupahiya fam—this isn’t just a show, it’s a wild, wonderful ride we’ve taken together. And now, it’s time to share it with you. Hold on tight, because sapno ka chakkajam is about to begin!"
The two-minute trailer provides the audience with fun insights into a small village wedding and how it leads to chaos after a motorbike goes missing. The trailer starts with the village’s most beautiful girl, Roshni, receiving a marriage proposal for her elder brother Durlabh.
However, the trailer gets more excited with the plot twist as Roshini picks the younger brother instead, leaving her family members stunned. Interestingly, Roshini goes against her father as he refuses to give dowry to her in-laws. The chaos continued with the arrival of Roshini's ex-boyfriend, Amavas, who was recently released from jail for theft.
However, Amavas ironically helps track down a mysterious thief who stole the motorbike. The series follows the crazy journey of the bride and the villagers to retrieve the bike before it's too late.
