Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra will not arrive on OTT anytime soon

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra continues to create waves in the theatres and is enjoying a successful run at the box office. The film’s success has left the fans eagerly anticipating Lokah's OTT release, but Dulquer Salmaan, who serves as a producer, made it clear that it will now arrive on any streaming platform anytime soon.

Dulquer has recently called out the swirling rumours about Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra OTT release. The actor and producer shared that the film will not be out on any streaming platform anytime soon.

Dulquer took to his official X (formerly Twitter) to clear the air on Sunday after rumours circulated about the film’s OTT release. The actor also advised followers and admirers to wait for official announcements rather than succumbing to false information.

He tweeted, “Lokah' isn't coming to OTT anytime soon. Ignore the fake news and stay tuned for official announcements! #Lokah #WhatstheHurry.”

The superhero film is directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his production banner Wayfarer Films. The film was released in theatres on August 28.

Kalyani Priyadarshan stars in the lead role alongside Sandy and Naslen. Master, Arun Kurian, and Chandu Salimkumar also star in the key roles.

The film became the first to be based on a female superhero and is having a good run at the box office, and has crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore in its first weekend. The film continues to dominate the box office and has recently become the highest-grossing Malayalam film, surpassing Mohanlal’s action thriller L2: Empuraan, which also starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and others in the lead.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra revolves around a woman who uncovers mystical skills while facing personal hurdles. As evil surfaces, she must embrace her powers and fate in a shifting world.
