Walt Disney Animation Studios' Zootopia 2 is all set to release on November 26 and days before the premiere the makers revealed the addition of new actors on board as a part of the Lynxley family.
In the sequel, Andy Samberg will be introduced as Pawbert Lynxley, Brenda Song as Kitty Lynxley, Macaulay Culkin as Cattrick Lynxley, and David Strathairn as Milton Lynxley.
Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard and produced by Yvett Merino.
In the upcoming sequel, a new character is introduced, named Gary De'Snake, who will join Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde to accomplish an undercover mission. The trio will be facing new threats and adventures as they set out to venture through the districts of Zootopia.
The makers took to Instagram on Tuesday and revealed the latest list of new actors on board, by sharing two glimpses from the film. The caption read, "Meet your newest #Zootopia2 cast as The Lynxley Family! Andy Samberg is Pawbert Lynxley, Macaulay Culkin is Cattrick Lynxley, Brenda Song is Kitty Lynxley, and David Strathairn is Milton Lynxley."
Favourite voice actors like Shakira as Gazelle, Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde, Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Nate Torrence as Clawhauser, and Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy Hopps return in the movie. Actors Quinta Brunson, Patrick Warburton, and Fortune Feimster are also among the latest additions to the cast of Zootopia 2.
Zootopia 2 continues the story of a busy city where animals of all kinds live together. It will continue to follow the story of the rabbit police officer, Judy Hopps, who works hard to keep their city safe.
The first instalment hit the theatres back in 2016 and was a huge box office success, grossing more than USD 1 billion worldwide.
