In a fresh development in the Disha Salian death case, an FIR has been filed against several high-profile individuals, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, actress Rhea Chakraborty, actors Dino Morea and Suraj Pancholi, as well as others.
This complaint has been officially accepted by the Mumbai Commissioner of Police and the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime).
Disha Salian, former manager to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, after reportedly falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Malad, Mumbai.
Her death took place just six days before SSR was found dead in his Bandra home on June 14. Both incidents sparked massive media attention and public outrage, leading to various conspiracy theories and demands for independent investigation.
Disha’s father, Satish Salian, has been pursuing legal channels for a deeper investigation into his daughter’s mysterious demise. According to reports, he had earlier approached the High Court to demand the registration of an FIR against Aaditya Thackeray. In his recent filing, he has sought a fresh CBI probe, citing serious concerns over alleged political interference and suspicious circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death.
The FIR names a total of nine people as accused. Alongside Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, and Rhea Chakraborty, it also includes Suraj Pancholi’s bodyguard, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, dismissed cop Sachin Vaze, and others. Satish Salian’s advocate stated that all individuals listed in the FIR were involved in a larger conspiracy and alleged cover-up.
In a shocking claim, the FIR reportedly includes references to findings by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), suggesting Aaditya Thackeray’s alleged links to a drug racket. Parambir Singh is being portrayed as the mastermind behind the alleged cover-up, with accusations of fabricating narratives to divert attention and protect influential individuals.
This latest development has reignited public discourse and political tension, especially considering the sensitive nature of the case and the names involved. The case had already been a major media flashpoint during the Sushant Singh Rajput investigation, with both cases often being discussed in tandem due to the close timeline of their deaths.
As of now, the Mumbai Police and central investigative agencies are yet to respond officially to the allegations made in the FIR. The case is expected to see further developments as the investigation progresses.
