Dipika Kakkar quits celebrity Masterchef

Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakkar, who made an eagerly awaited return to television with Celebrity MasterChef, has unfortunately had to step away from the show.

The actress, who welcomed motherhood last year, had generated a lot of excitement among her fans with her participation. However, much to the disappointment of her supporters, Dipika’s journey on the culinary competition has come to an early end.

During a conversation with Aaj Tak, fellow contestant Usha Nadkarni confirmed that Dipika Kakkar has exited the show.

She mentioned, "Dipika ki tabiyat barabar nhi, uska kuch haath ka problem h, toh voh barabar nhi krskti isliye usnne chorrdia hai"

"Thoda gyi thi voh., matlab doctor ne fir bola ki voh theek hogya kar ke aayi, fir uska chaalu hogya toh voh abhi boli ki abhoi main nhi aayungi" The Pavitra Rishta actress added.

Usha concluded, "Aisse hee ek doosre key saath, sabki bonding achhi hai, matlan ek family hogyi hai"

Dipika Kakkar's husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, had previously mentioned in his vlog that she was dealing with intense arm pain. After a medical examination, it was confirmed that the pain was caused by an old injury, and doctors recommended rest and minimal movement. In the video, Dipika was seen wearing a sling, and although Shoaib mentioned she would attempt to continue filming, it was clear that her condition required proper care.

In the meantime, Celebrity MasterChef saw its first elimination, with comedian Chandan Prabhakar becoming the first contestant to leave the show. He was subsequently replaced by Bollywood actress Ayesha Jhulka, who entered as a wild card contestant.

This season of Celebrity MasterChef features a glamorous cast, including Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), and Ayesha Jhulka. Hosted by Farah Khan, with Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna serving as judges, the competition is heating up.

Celebrity MasterChef marked Dipika Kakkar's return to television after a seven-year hiatus. She has remained active on YouTube, sharing daily vlogs with her followers. According to a report by Jagran, she has been earning approximately Rs. 2.3 lakh per week for her participation on the show.
