"Dimple Kapadia left Rajesh Khanna, he remained trapped", Anita Advani accuses actor's family of abandonment and greed

Anita Advani, who was rumoured to be the live in partner of late Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna, has once again stirred controversy with her sharp remarks against his family.

Amid the ongoing legal battle over Rajesh Khanna’s property, Anita Advani alleged that the actor was abandoned in his difficult years, only to have his family take control of his entire fortune after his death.

She also issued a stern warning, invoking the power of “karma.”

She was speaking on REEL Meet REAL, Anita Advani said, “She (Dimple) had left him in 1982, and for 30 years, she had no connection with him. He had already lost everything by then; everyone had left him. He was stuck in between. He wasn’t even getting a divorce, so he remained trapped. No divorce, no resolution.”

She further claimed that decisions regarding Rajesh Khanna’s property were made when he was not in a position to intervene.

“The discussion did take place but, in the end, when he was not even conscious, everything was done in such a way that it went completely out of control — beyond anyone’s reach, including his own. Yet, the family got his entire property. That in itself is a big story,” she said.

Advani also revealed that she had received a communication from the Supreme Court regarding her case. According to her, the court clarified that the earlier order passed against her had no binding weight and that the observations made in it did not hold ground.

Raising questions about the family’s intentions, she remarked, “No one takes anything with them when they go. So why cheat like this? No one can eat or carry so much money after death. Then why such greed? Every relationship deserves respect. In my heart, I know — everyone should get what they rightfully deserve.”

She reiterated her belief that justice would eventually prevail, not just in the courts, but through universal law. “Karma comes around on its own. No matter how smart you think you are, you can’t escape karma,” she said, taking a veiled dig at the Khanna family.

The dispute over Rajesh Khanna’s estate has been ongoing since his passing in 2012. While the family has maintained its stance, Anita Advani continues to contest her exclusion, insisting that she played a significant role in the actor’s final years. The legal battle, and the emotional claims surrounding it, remain unresolved.
