Diljit Dosanjh is gearing up to perform in Mumbai this Thursday as part of his Dil-Luminati concert, which will take place at the Mahalakshmi Race Course. The event is being produced by Saregama Live in collaboration with Ripple Effect Studio.

Ahead of the concert, Diljit received a unique and heartfelt welcome from Mumbai’s iconic dabbawalas on Wednesday. Dressed in Diljit’s signature attire of a kurta, chadra, jacket, and gloves, the dabbawalas toured the city, visiting its famous landmarks and neighborhoods, adding a special local touch to the star’s arrival.

Reacting to the same, Diljit said, “I’m truly humbled by this heartfelt gesture from Mumbai’s dabbawalas. Their dedication and connection to their roots inspire me deeply, and it’s a reminder of the strength of staying true to who you are. Mumbai welcomes every person from a different ethnicity with open arms. Your words are my strength. Punjabi Mumbai madhye ale oye."

Diljit Dosanjh has been captivating audiences around the globe with his exciting concerts during the Dil-Luminati Tour Year 24. Despite dealing with some controversies, his enthusiasm remains as vibrant as ever.

However, Diljit recently stated that he would hold live shows in India once the concert infrastructure improves. Several clips of him discussing the need for better infrastructure went viral on social media. In one of the viral clips, he shared, “Here, we don’t have infrastructure for live shows. This is a source of big revenue, many people get work and are able to work here. I’ll try next time that the stage is at the centre so that you can be around it. Till this happens, I won’t do shows in India."
