Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, who gained popularity in India with his hit track FA9LA, has canceled his upcoming performances in the country just days before the planned shows. The artist was slated to perform in Mumbai and Bengaluru as part of his highly anticipated debut in India, disappointing fans after the abrupt announcement.

Flipperachi rose to fame in India after his song FA9LA was featured in the action movie Dhurandhar, which stars Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna. The track quickly spread virally across social media and music platforms, establishing the rapper as a well-known name among Indian listeners.

He was set to take the stage in Mumbai on March 13 and was also supposed to appear at the UN40 Music & Beyond Festival in Bengaluru on March 14 and 15. These concerts were anticipated to mark his first live shows in India and had created significant excitement among his followers.

However, organisers have stated that Flipperachi will no longer be able to make the trip to India due to the current tensions in the Middle East and Bahrain, which have complicated the artist's ability to attend the events.

The news was confirmed in an official statement shared by Saregama India. The note read, “In light of the current situation in the Middle East and Bahrain, Flipperachi will not be able to perform at UN4O this weekend. While we were excited to have him on the lineup, the circumstances make it difficult for him to travel at this time. We continue to look forward to an amazing weekend of performances and unforgettable moments at UN4O.”

Even though Flipperachi won’t be there, the UN40 Music & Beyond Festival will include several well-known artists such as Himesh Reshammiya, Talwiinder, Aditya Rikhari, and Shalmali Kholgade, who are slated to perform over the two-day event.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment upon hearing the news, as many were eager to see the viral rapper perform live in India for the very first time. Numerous users conveyed their hope that the artist would reveal new dates once things return to normal.
