Idly Kadai gets a new release date

Dhanush, the versatile actor and director, has officially announced the new release date of his much-anticipated film, Idly Kadai.

The announcement came with a vibrant new poster, showcasing Dhanush in a traditional crisp shirt and dhoti, dancing joyfully with a group of people in a festive setting. Initially slated for a grand release on April 10, the film was postponed to avoid a box-office clash with Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly.

On April 4, Dhanush took to social media to share the new poster and reveal that Idly Kadai will now hit theatres on October 1. He captioned the post simply: "Idli Kadai #oct1."

Idly Kadai marks Dhanush's fourth directorial venture, following the success of Pa Paandi, Raayan, and Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam.

In addition to directing, Dhanush also plays a significant role in the film. The movie is expected to be a rural-based emotional drama, further cementing Dhanush's affinity for heartfelt storytelling.

The film reunites Dhanush with actress Nithya Menen, who previously won a National Award for her role in their collaboration Thiruchitrambalam. Their on-screen chemistry is highly anticipated, and their reunion is one of the most exciting aspects of Idly Kadai.

The ensemble cast includes talented actors such as Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, and Rajkiran, all of whom bring their unique charm to the project.
